CLASS OPENING AND REVIEW
● Greeting
Greet the students as I enter the classroom .When they are settled tell them today we are going to enjoy a story about a little monkey .
● Review the fruits
What’s this ? It’s an apple \pear \banana \peach \orange \watermelon.

NEW CONCEPTS
Teach watermelon and tell students they are all fruit .

● Lead- in
Today we ‘ll have a story .In the story there are some fruits and also there are animals in it .
Let the students guess what the animals are .
Students can guess the animals with the teachers’ help :
- The animal is thin .2 The animal has long tail .3. The animal lives in the forest 4. The animal has long ears …
(设计意图:用猜一猜的办法既可以引起学生的好奇,也可以帮助他们复习前面学过的知识。)

Before reading give the students a question

After listening students answer the question .
