Warm up

1.Lead in

Let students watch the video about asking the way.

2.Free talk:

Show up the picture about Ankang hospital and let students ask and answer using the sentences below:

Can you tell me the way to...?

Is there a(n)... near...?

 How can I get...?

Could you tell me how to get to...?

1.Watch the video and try to find some sentences about asking the way.

Can you tell me the way to...? Is there a(n)... near...? How can I get...? Could you tell me how to get to...

2.Ask and answer with the teacher and partners.

e.g. Can you tell me the way to ...?

Go along the street, turn left,opposite the ...

让学生看有关问路的视频、free talk逐步引出新的语言项目,通过这些环节,可调动学生的学习欲望。

Task: Check the new words.

1.Show some pictures of the places (bank, bookshop, museum, street etc.) to get the students to say out the new words.

2.Ask students to read the new words together.

3.Ask them to number the places from the box with the pictures. Then play the tape.(Activity 1)
