英语课程标准（2011版）教学建议中提到“加强学习策略指导，培养学生自主学习能力”。本节课通过引导学生自主学习发现语言知识，复习、整理和归纳本课所学的重点和难点词汇与功能句，达到能够用所学英语进行问路与指路的话题交流，形成良好的学习策略。
教学内容分析
本课是北师大版“义务教育教科书英语七年级（下册）”Unit 2 Lessn 6第二课时，话题为周末外出，功能为问路与指路。在上节课中，学生已经初步掌握了有关问路与指路的会话，基本掌握相关的功能句，但词汇与功能句的运用练习不够充分。本节课对相关问路与指路的词汇与功能句进行归纳与运用，同时还要依据不同场景，使学生能够正确使用相关功能句来表达问路与指路。
学生情况分析
知识：学生对于本课中出现的指路的词汇已经有了初步的认识，能够正确认读，但还没有达到熟练运用的程度，需要通过情景练习掌握词汇的运用。 话题功能：学生在上节课已经初步感知了相关功能句，但要达到在交际中熟练运用，还需要教师提供更多的会话情景和练习。

在本节课结束时，学生能够： 1.正确使用“crss ,street, rad, crner, miss, ppsite”来表达指路。 2.归纳并说出关于问路和指路的功能句。 3.使用相关的功能句进行问路与指路。 4.树立礼貌求助、助人为乐的意识。

教学设计特点
本节课在设计时，主要体现了以学生为学习主体的原则，通过再次呈现所学问路和指路的对话，引导学生观察、归纳对话中的功能句。鼓励学生自主学习探究，在语境中学习、感知语言知识。在输出部分，设计了两个层次的对话练习。第一个层次是依照地图，在教师的引导下进行问路与指路的对话练习；第二个层次是结合实际语境，应用所学功能句进行交际，体现语言的交际功能，从而达到教学目标。
