用来修饰主句中的动词，副词和形容词的从句叫状语从句。根据其含义状语从句可分为时间状语从句，地点状语从句，条件状语从句等。地点状语从句表示地点、 方位， 这类从句通常由where,wherever等引导。I shuld put the bk ver there.I shuld put the bk n the table.I shuld put the bk where I can see it.

地点状语从句类型 1）Where＋地点从句。 此句型通常译成“哪里...,哪里就...”或“...的地方”。where一般表示一个确定的但非特指的地点。Yu shuld put the bk where yu can find it. They were gd persns. Where they went,  they were warmly welcmed.We must camp where we can get water.
2）Anywhere/ wherever＋地点从句，＋主句。wherever, anywhere和everywhere表示“任何地方”。Wherever the sea is , yu will find seamen.Wherever I am, I will nt frget yu.Anywhere she ges, he ges t.Wherever I am l will be thinking f yu.

地点状语从句与定语从句的区别 二者区别在于分句在句中作什么成分。作状语，则是状语从句；作定语修饰名词，则是定语从句。 where引导定语从句时，从句前应有一个表示地点的名词作先行词；而状语从句前则无需先行词。
