Unit 6 Outdoor fun reading1教学目标: 1. 能掌握重点词汇2. 能了解故事内容,在阅读中关注叙事的时间顺序。教学重点: 掌握一般过去式的用法教学设计:Step 1 lead in1.和学生交流:What’s your favourite activity at school? Why do you like it best? 认真听取学生答案的同时,肯定其回答并加以补充。2.对学生说:I’m busy with my work and have little time for outdoor activities. But I often read stories about outdoor activities and adventures.出示一张《爱丽丝梦游仙境》的插图,告诉学生:Today we’ll learn an exciting story together. Do you know the name of the story?(Alice in Wonderland.)Who’s the main character of the story?(Alice)检测学生对这个故事的了解程度。Step II Presentation1.教师说:Now let’s listen to the story to find more about Alice’s adventures.在播放录音的过程中,让学生划出理解有困难的词汇、词组和句型。2.展示描绘故事内容的相关图片,帮助学生学习新内容:pass, fall, hit, alone, low, locked, notice, through等。提供相关情境让学生理解和运用这些词汇,以through 为例,教师可以给出图片,让学生描述: (1)A train goes through the tunnel. (2) Alice jumped through a hole. (3) A tiger jumped through a fire ring . (4) Sunlight shines through the window.(1)Where did Alice see a white rabbit?(2)What did the rabbit say ? (3) What was the rabbit going to do ?6.让学生用正确的词汇填空:One sunny day, Alice sat a river with her sister. Then she heard a strange sound. She looked and saw a rabbit a coat passing .The rabbit took a watch its pocket and looked at the time. It surprised Alice a lot.7.学生说读课文的第3段,讨论以下问题:(1)Why did the rabbit surprise Alice?(2)Where did the rabbit go ?(3)What did Alice do then ?(4)Why did she do that ?(5)If you saw such a rabbit ,would you follow it like Alice did ?8.学生集体朗读课文第4-5段,要求学生根据课文内容,完成表格。Step III Practice1.让学生独立完成第71页B2部分。2.让学生按正确顺序朗读,然后要求学生两人一组,加上适当的词语将这些句子连成一段话。请几位学生向全班同学复述故事情节。
