Yangzhu, sitting 2,500 years at the crssing f the Yangtze River and the 2,400-year-ld Grand Canal(大运河), is ne f the first 24 histric and cultural cities in China. In the ld twn, there are many streets and huses. It’s best t visit the city in spring. Spring paints the city in bright clrs.

Yangzhu has always been famus fr its gardens. Amng them, the Slender West Lake, ne f the biggest attractins in the city, was my first stp. My next stp was He Garden, ne f the best prtected gardens in Yangzhu. It was nce wned by the family f He Zhida in Qing Dynasty. He Zhida successfully brught Chinese and Western architectural(建筑的) features tgether. Yangzhu is als the starting pint f the Grand Canal tur. Taking a bat alng the part f the canal in Yangzhu, I was amazed at the liveliness f this ancient waterway and the city’s histry and culture. Luckily, my tw-day trip t Yangzhu was filled with pleasure and wnder. It made me learn mre abut China.
