教学目标:
知识目标:听、说、读、写四会掌握单词early, late, begin, party, surprise;了解打电话英语常用表达并能在实际生活中运用。
能力目标:能运用所学的语言知识在创设的情境中进行熟练的交际,并在此基础上将其运用于日常生活之中。引导学生通过合作学习,培养自己解决问题的能力。
情感目标:通过本课学习,培养学生的时间观念,培养学生珍惜友情、热爱他人的良好品德。
重点和难点:
重点:听、说、读、写四会掌握单词 early, late, begin, party, surprise。
难点:熟练地运用英语电话常用语言进行交际。

录音机,课件和单词卡片
教学过程:
Step 1 Free talk:
T: Summer hliday is cming. Li Ming will g t China fr his summer hliday. What will Jenny and Danny d next? D yu want t knw? Ss: Yes.
有意识地引出本课时教学内容Li Ming is leaving sn. Because summer hliday is cming. Jenny and Danny will have a party fr Li Ming t say gd-bye.
Step 2 Learn the new wrds:
1) Learn the new wrds: early, late, begin
出示钟表,钟表指向开始上英语课的时间8:00。分别出示与befre对应的钟表,指针指示上课前的某时间;与after对应的钟表,指针指示上课后某时间。引导学生进行如下对话:
T: We are learning English nw. This is English class. When des English class begin?
Ss: At 8:00.
T: (叫一名学生站在单词befre下面) Lk! He came befre 8:00. He is early. Is he early?
Ss: Yes, he is early.
T: Right! (叫一名学生站在单词after下面) Lk! Nw it’s after 8:00. She is late. Is she late?
Ss: Yes, she is late!
T: Right!
通过上课时间8:00引出单词begin,并安排两个学生分别站在befre,after的钟表下面,表示一个early,一个late。通过情境,让学生理解early, late, begin,使学生掌握三个单词。
2) Learn the new wrd: surprise
利用角色表演来演示surprise。让一名学生到教室外面。在其书桌里藏一件意外的礼物。教师说:Let’s give her a surprise. This dll is a surprise fr her.然后学生回到教室,引导对话:
T:I put smething in yur desk. There is a surprise in yur desk. Can yu find it?
S: Yes!
T: What is it?
S: A dll!
3) Learn the new wrd: party
用课件显示插图P54,引出对话:Lk! This is a party, a surprise party. Li Ming desn’t knw this party. But in this party, many peple are cming. I think they will have fun in this party. D yu think s? 跟读单词party

课件展示party图片,教师与学生对话:T: What’s this? Ss: It’s a party. T: Yes! It’s Li Ming’s party. Listen! Jenny and Danny are talking abut the party. Li Ming is leaving sn. Jenny and Danny will have a party fr him. But they will nt tell Li Ming. They will invite Steven. Nw, Jenny is calling Steven n the phne. Hw many peple are cming t the party? Wh are they?
