if 引导的条件状语从句定义:if“如果,假如”,它引导的句子表示某事发生所需的条件,即“在……条件下,某事才能发生”,在句子中充当状语,因此称之为条件状语从句。位置:if引导的条件状语从句既可以放在句子前,也可以放在句子后。从句位于主句之前时,常用逗号将其与主句隔开。
时态:(1)if条件状语从句中,主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时表示将来。主将从现原则。例:We will g t the park if it desn't rain tmrrw. 如果明天不下雨的话我们将去公园。(2)if条件状语从句中,如果主句有must、can、may等情态动词,从句用一般现在时。主情从现原则。例:Yu must stp crssing the rad if the traffic light is red. 如果交通灯是红色的你必须停止穿过马路。
(3)当if条件状语从句中,主句是祈使句,从句用一般现在时表示将来。主祈从现原则。例:Dn't wait fr me if I am late. 如果我晚了就不用等我了。(4)if引导的条件状语从句中,主句是一般过去时,从句使用与过去相关的某种时态。例:If he gt up earlier yesterday, he wuld nt miss the early bus.如果他昨天早点起床,他就不会错过早班车。
(5)如果if引导的条件句谈论的是一种真理或客观事实时,无论从句是什么时态,主句都用一般现在时。例:If the by heated metal yesterday, the metal melts. 如果昨天那个男孩把金属加热,它就会融化。【注意】(1)在if引导的条件状语从句中,当主句是一般将来时时,不能够使用be ging t结构,而要用will。
例:I'll help yu with yur English if I am free tmrrw. 如果明天我有空,我会帮你学英语。(2)在if引导的条件状语从句中不能够使用sme,而要用any。例:If yu have any questins t ask, please cme t my ffice. 如果你有问题要问的话,请到我办公室来。
