In February, the 16-year-ld frm Wdbury High Schl, Minnesta, US, cmpeted at the 2021 US Olympic Trials. She finished the marathn (42, J95 km) with a tune f 2:42:47 as the yungest cmpetitr in the race and ranked 76th ut f 390 runners.
Then, in Nvember, Wlfgram, wh turned 17, brke the Wmen's American Junir marathn recrd with her time f 2:31:49. The ld recrd was 2:34:32, which had std since 1984. During the run, Wlfgram nce hit a wall pretty hard, but she vercame it t finish. "I guess I can say I gave it my all," she tld Runner's Wrld. "When I finished, all I was thinking was that I was super happy," Wlfgram said.
This was nly her third marathn. In 2021, when Wlfgram was 15 years ld, she ran her first marathn just because she wanted t see if she was capable f ding it. "I believed that I wuld get faster as the distances gt lnger... and I'm still glad that I did it."

This emergency call riginated in the 1920s. At that time, the standard distress call was "SOS" and was typically used by navy captains. The message was sent in Mrse cde by telegraph. In February, the 16-year-ld frm Wdbury High Schl, Minnesta, US, cmpeted at the 2021 US Olympic Trials. She finished the marathn (42, J95 km) with a tune f 2:42:47 as the yungest cmpetitr in the race and ranked 76th ut f 390 runners.
Then, in Nvember, Wlfgram, wh turned 17, brke the Wmen's American Junir marathn recrd with her time f 2:31:49. The ld recrd was 2:34:32, which had std since 1984. During the run, Wlfgram nce hit a wall pretty hard, but she vercame it t finish. "I guess I can say I gave it my all," she tld Runner's Wrld. "When I finished, all I was thinking was that I was super happy," Wlfgram said.
This was nly her third marathn. In 2021, when Wlfgram was 15 years ld, she ran her first marathn just because she wanted t see if she was capable f ding it. "I believed that I wuld get faster as the distances gt lnger... and I'm still glad that I did it."
