    (3)And “what is a bk fr,” thught Alice, “withut pictures r cnversatins?” “连插图和对话都没有”,艾丽丝想,“这书是干什么用的呢?” what……fr 为什么……,做什么用的? 是在不理解对方的动机或询问对方的目的时的用语,fr 放于句末。 What‘s the buttn fr? 这个按钮是干什么的? — What d yu study fr? 你们为什么要学习呢? — We study fr ur future. 学习是为了我们的将来。
    (4)Suddenly a white rabbit with pink eyes ran by. 突然一只长着粉红色眼睛的兔子跑了过去。 Alice gt up and ran acrss the field after it. 爱丽丝站起来,跟在它后面穿过了田野。
    run by = run past 从……旁边跑过run acrss 跑过……,穿过……run after sb. 跟在某人身后跑
    (5)There was nthing strange abut that. 那没有什么奇怪的。
    形容词修饰不定代词时,应该后置。 I have smething imprtant t tell yu. 我有要事要告诉你们。 Dn’t wrry abut me. There is nthing difficult fr me. 不要替我担心,这难不倒我。 英语中常用that代指上文中提到的事物,而用this指代下文中将要提到的事物。例如:“I have t g,” she said, and after saying that she hung up the phne. “我得走了”她说。说完就挂了电话。This is what yu must d. First…这是你必须做的。首先……
    (6) She heard the rabbit say … She saw it g dwn a large rabbit hle. 爱丽丝看到它钻进了一个很大的兔穴里。 感官动词的用法 常见的感官动词有:see / watch / hear / ntice/ listen t 等,后接 宾语,再接省略t的动词不定式或 V+ing形式。 d 表示动作的全过程 感官动词+ sb. + ding 表示动作正在进行
    see sb. d sth 看到某人做了某事 see sb. ding sth 看到某人在做某事 hear sb. d sth 听到某人做了某事, hear sb. ding sth 听到某人在做某事
    (7) She never thught abut hw she was ging t get ut again. 她从没想过怎样才能从这儿出去。 think abut =think f (+ 宾语从句/ding sth) 考虑做某事 “hw she was ging t get ut again” 作“thught abut”的宾语,句子作宾语,就叫宾从句, 注意宾语从句的语序:疑问词+陈述句 I’m thinking abut where I will g fr my hliday. 我正在考虑去哪里度假。 I’m thinking abut/f ging fr my hliday.
    (8)It was t dark fr her t see anything. 对于爱丽丝来说,太黑暗了,她什么也看不清。 t……t 太……以致不能 与s…… that 和 nt ……enugh可互换使用, 如: 这个杯子太烫了以至于我不能碰: The cup is t ht t tuch. The cup is s ht that I can't tuch it. The cup isn't cld enugh fr me t tuch.
    (9)suddenly she landed n sme dry leaves… 突然,她落到了一些干树叶上…… land n (降)落到……上,着陆 The plane landed n the beach because f a thick fg. 由于大雾,飞机降落在了海滩上。 A large branch landed n my car. 一根巨大的树枝落在了我的汽车上。
