Unit 2 Good habits语法精讲

频率副词

含义：一般用来表示动作发生的频率

分类：模糊频率副词和精确频率副词

模糊频率副词的用法

模糊频率副词有：（按照大小顺序）

百分比

   always   usually   often    sometimes   seldom  hardly    never

位置：往往放在句子中间 1. 实意动词之前    2. 非实意动词之后 （1. 系动词be后；  2. 助动词后（do; does; will；3. 情态动词后（must; can; may））

注意：在答句中，频率副词放在助动词之前。 Eg: Do you often go there?   --- Yes, I often do.

1. sometimes 在句中的位置任意，可句中；可末尾； 可句首

2. sometime; some times; some time; sometimes四者区别

  sometime: 未来或者过去某个时间

  some time 一些时间

  some times 几次

  sometimes  有时

记忆口诀：分开一段时间（some time）,相聚某个时候（sometime）;

分开s是倍数（some times）；相连s是“有时”(sometimes)

精确频率副词的用法

1. 精确频率副词有：once; twice; three times……( 从3开始 数字+ times )

2. 使用：once a day 一天一次；   twice a year 一年一次  three times a month 一个月3次

对频率副词的提问：用how often

类似how often的特殊疑问词

1. How often: 一般是对频率副词提问（often; usually; always; twice a day）

          Eg: --- How often do you watch TV?   ---- Every day.

2. how many times: 对次数提问

          Eg: --- How many times do you watch TV every week?   ---- Twice.

3. how long: 对一段时间提问，答句通常30 minute; 2 hours; for + 一段时间

          Eg: How long do you spend reading books every day?  --- About an hour.

4. how soon: 通常对将来的时态提问；翻译为“还需要多长时间”;通常答句 In + 一段时间

           Eg: How soon will you come back？   --- In an hour.

5. how far： 对距离提问

           Eg: How far is it from your school?   ---- About 3 miles

6. how much: 对不可数名词提问或者对价格提问

注意以下情况的辨析：1. 答句给的是once; twice; 用How many times

                     2. 注意how long 可以 = How much + 不可数名词

                     3. 答句是10 minutes’ walk这种格式，提问用how far,不是how long
