Good morning, dear judges. I'm Candidate No.1. I am Lihua from senior 3 class 2, who is confident，outgoing and sociable. It’s my privilege to compete with so many excellent school mates but I am confident that I am suitable for this position.

Two reasons account for my competency for this post. First of all, I have good command of English ，especially the oral English. I have won many prizes for English speaking contests, which helps me to communicate smoothly with the foreigners. In addition, I have intense interest and solid knowledge background in both foreign and Chinese culture. I have read a wide range of cultural masterpieces, books and magazines，which promotes our mutual communication in this exchange and deepen our friendship as well.

All in all, beyond my outgoing character, my English and interest in world culture both equip me as a competent ambassador. I believe my participation will add more flavor to this exchange!  Thank you !

  Then a thought occurred to Aram that he could ask Mrs. Rossi to teach him. "Maybe，you could teach me how to bake" he proposed. Instead of being touched, Mrs. Ross pointed to those empty bottles and said seriously “it takes greater passion and patience too! without them, it won't be less boring than babysitting or table washing.” Hearing this, Aram flashed a confident smile. He assured her he enjoyed all the qualities a good Baker should own and that with his effort，the faded wood sign would shine again！

   Mrs. Rossi finally said” let's buy some ingredients first”. They filled all those empty bottles with ingredients. Mrs. Ross instructed Aram how to bake from the scratch. As was expected, he was quite talented in baking so he mastered the skills quickly. He devoted much time and energy to baking day after day. One day, Mrs. Ross declared to her customers that she cancelled the wholesale and that she would sell the bread made by Aram. The first day’s business turned out to be a great success！Mrs. Ross received consumer’s appreciation with rapture，forgetting all her frustrations and disappointment plaguing her for a long time. Rows of people lined every corner of the Ross’s again！They installed a newly-designed wooden sign which shun brilliantly. Aram was intoxicated in this hard-earned triumph, feeling proud that his love for baking coincided with Mrs. Ross’s and so did their dream to rejuvenate the Ross’s Bakery ！
