I. Teaching Contents: Unit7. Hobbies
II. Teaching aims:
①Knowledge aim: Students can understand new words and expressions such as dance, draw, play the piano and etc and use sentence patterns such as “like doing” to express their hobbies.
②Ability aim: Students can improve their listening and speaking abilities after learning this unit and they could apply these new knowledge into their daily life.
③Emotional aim: Students can express themselves in public bravely and their awareness of cooperation can also be fostered.
III. Teaching key and difficult points:
Teaching key point: Students can understand new words such as ice-skating、listening to music and etc and use sentence patterns such as “like doing” .
Teaching difficult point: Students can apply new words and sentence patterns in real circumstances.

V. Teaching Procedures
Step 1. Warming up
1) Greetings and Free talk
T: Hello, boys and girls, nice to see you! How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine. Thank you, and you?
T:I’m fine too, thanks. what day is it today?
S:It’s Wednesday.
T:What do you do on Wednesday?
S:I study on Wednesday.
T:What do you want to do on Wednesday?
S:I want to see a movie on Wednesday.
T:Boys and girls, do you like seeing a movie?
Ss: Yes, I do. Do you like Peppa Pig?
2)The teacher will show a video(about Peppa Pig’s video) for them. Then answer the questions, ”What can Peppa Pig do?” and ”What are her hobbies?”.(引入课题)She can skip, sing and dance.\Her hobbies are skipping, singing and dancing. So today we will learn Unit7 Hobbies.
Step 2.Teach new expression
Learn with the teacher. Show the pictures to teach the new words and sentences.
1).What do you like doing?
I like ice-skating.
2). What’s your hobby?
My hobby is ice-skating.
Pair work and show the characters to the students.
3).What does he\She like doing?
He\She likes riding a bike.
4). What’s his\her hobby?
His\Her hobby is riding a bike.
Learn in Groups or pairs.
5).What do they like doing?
They like playing cards.
6). What’s their hobby?
Their hobby is playing cards.
Step 3.Practices
1).Read the chant together with clap hands.
2).Use the new sentences to play Rock Paper Scissors game.
3).Play a guessing game.
Ss can say the word of command“one, two, three OPEN”
4).Sing a song of“I have many hobbies”
5).Listen a passage about Peppa Pig’s family and answer the questions.
Hello, My name is Peppa Pig .I like ice-skating. My hobby is ice-skating. My father likes riding a bike. His hobby is riding a bike. My mother likes watching TV . Her hobby is watching TV. My brother likes playing the drum and His hobby is playing the drum. My grandmother likes listening to music. Her hobby is listening to music. What do you like doing? What about your family?
Answer these questions:
a. What’s Peppa Pig’s hobby?
b. What’s Peppa ’s father’s hobby?
c. What’s Peppa ’s grandmother’s hobby?
d. What’s Peppa ’s mother’s hobby?
e. What’s Peppa ’s brother’s hobby?
Ss show play the drum.
6).Let the students tick the correct answer in the form.

教学反思:
本节课能面向全体学生,关注学生情感,创造民主、和谐的学习氛围。设计多个游戏鼓励学生大胆地使用英语,对他们在学习过程中出现的错误采取宽容的态度。整个教学过程中,由复习旧知识到新知识,由易到难,每个教学环节紧紧相扣,呈现出循序渐进的模式。使学生掌握最基本知识的同时,能注意拓宽知识面,给学生一个自主学习和直接交流的机会。给他们提供一个充分发展和自我发展的空间。鼓励学生通过体现,实践,合作等方式,发展学生听、说、读、写的综合能力。采取口头评价、等级评价等方式,鼓励学生自我反思和自我提高。并运用有效的多媒体手段,不但活跃课堂气氛,更有助于课堂容量、密度和速度的提高。不足之处就是给予学生开放性的口头表达时间不多。今后在教学中应该多注意和调整。
