On February 27, 2026, the Ministry f Educatin (教育部) fficially annunced Guiding Opinins n Cmprehensively Prmting the Cnstructin f Healthy Schls 《关于全面推进健康学校建设的指导意见》. One imprtant rule in this ntice is that primary and secndary schls acrss the cuntry shuld make the class break lnger, frm 10 minutes t 15 minutes.
This plicy is based n the idea f “Health First”. In the past, 10-minute breaks were ften t shrt—students culd nly rush t the restrm r drink water, with n time t truly relax.
