宾语从句(1)1.定义和构成宾语从句是英语中用来充当宾语的句子宾语从句一般由“引导词十主语十谓语十其他”构成，语序要用陈述句语序。2.that引导的宾语从句that引导的宾语从句用来陈述事实，that本身无词义，在从句中不作任何成分，在口语中常常省略。但是如果有两个并列的宾语从句，第二个从句的引导词that不能省略。例如:He said (that) the bk was veryinteresting and that (不能省 略) all thechildren liked t read it.他说那本书很有趣，所有的小朋友都喜欢看。
(1)主句的谓语动词是表示肯定的概念， believe, expect, explain, feel, frget,guess, hear, hpe,imagine, knw, prefer,prmise, remember, reprt, say, see, tell,think,understand,warn,wish 等时,其后面的宾语从句一般用that引导。例如:I hpe (that) he will be fine sn. 我希望他很快好起来。He said (that) he didn't like music. 说他不喜欢音乐。(2)主句由“连系动词十形容词”构成的“系表”结构，常接that引导的宾语从句。这类形容词多表示感情，如afraid,certain，sure,surprised 等。例如:glad, happy, pleased, sad, satisfied, srry,I'm afraid (that) he can't cme.恐怕他不能来了。We are all pleased (that) yu can cme.你们能来我们都很高兴。
3.由whether或if引导的宾语从句whether,if 都意为“是否”，当宾语从句要表达不肯定或疑问的概念时，从句由whether或if来引导,不能用that。whether 和if在从句中不可省略。例如: I dn' t knw whether/if he will help me.我不知道他是否会帮助我。【注意】一般情况下,if和 whether 可以互换，但以下3种情况只能用whether:(1)在不定式之前。例如:We dn’t decide whether t g tBeijing r nt.我们还没决定是否去北京。(2)在介词之后。例如: It depends n whether yu want t d it.这取决于你是否想去做这件事。(3)与r nt连用表示选择意义时。例如: They are talking abut whether t buy acar r nt.他们正在讨论是否买一辆小汽车。
