Prfessr Karen Bakker said that AI is already helping humans cmmunicate with bats and bees. This culd change what we knw abut nature and ur nn-human relatinships.

Bakker explained hw scientist Yssi Yvel had used recrdings and AI t understand bats. “Bats argue ver fd; they cmmunicate differently between genders — they have their names, r ‘signature calls’,” she said. “But unlike human mthers, wh raise their vices when talking t babies, mther bats lwer their vices.” A cmputer can be trained t listen like a bat, but this can never be dne with the human ear.
