Eating a lt f red and prcessed meats has been linked t a higher risk f certain cancers, like stmach cancer, mainly because harmful chemicals can frm when these meats are cked at high temperatures r heavily prcessed. These chemicals, called mutagens, aren't fund in raw meat but are created during grilling, frying, r smking.
Accrding t large study grup analysis and systematic reviews, cancer risk, particularly clrectal cancer, begins t increase when red meat intake exceeds abut 350 - 500 grams f cked weight per week. That's rughly three t fur servings per week. Beynd this, the risk rises in a dse - dependent way. Fr example, an analysis fund that fr every additinal 100 grams f red meat per day, clrectal cancer risk increased by abut 12% - 17%. Fr prcessed meat, the evidence is even strnger and mre cnsistent. Prcessed meats — like bacn, sausages, ham, and cured meats — were classified by the Wrld Cancer Research Fund as Grup 1 carcingens, meaning there is sufficient evidence that they cause cancer in humans.
Lab - grwn meat is prduced frm animal cells and is nt the same as salt - cured prcessed meat. There's n lng - term human data yet, s any risk wuld depend n hw it's made and cked, with lwer expsure expected if n heavy prcessing is applied and high - temperature rasting is minimised. Lab - grwn meat is indeed made by quickly grwing animal cells in a cntrlled envirnment, but nt by using cancer cells. The cells used are nrmal animal stem cells, which are grwn and differentiated int muscle and fat cells, being carefully mnitred t ensure they grw safely and d nt becme abnrmal r cancerus.
Sme peple wrry abut safety because the cells multiply quickly, but this is cmpletely natural; it's the same way stem cells grw and repair tissue in animals. The prcess is clsely mnitred t ensure the cells remain healthy and nrmal. In fact, lab - grwn meat avids sme f the health risks linked t traditinal meat, such as bacteria frm slaughterhuses and harmful chemicals frm prcessing.
      28. What can we infer abut "mutagens" frm paragraph 1?
      A. They're substances leading t cancer.
      B. They exist nly at lwer temperatures.
      C. They cmmnly exist in raw meats.
      D. They're substances ften used in cking.
      29. Hw much cked red meat intake is cnsidered safe generally?
      A. 100 grams r belw daily.B. Belw 50-70 grams daily.
      C. 550 grams r belw weekly.D. Between 150-170 grams daily.
      30. What des the third paragraph aim t indicate?
      A. The safety f lab-grwn meat.

      D. Reducing Risk: Red Meat & Prcessed Meat
      D
A humanid rbt's ability t interact effectively relies n its capacity t recgnize, imitate(模仿), and respnd t human scial signals. Fr instance, a study fund that humanid rbts can enhance teamwrk by displaying a happy face and making apprpriate gaze shifts tward humans, cmpared t displaying a sad face and making inapprpriate gaze shifts, which leads t imprved perfrmance in cllabrative tasks. Similarly, when humanid rbts imitate facial expressins, they fster strnger scial bnding between humans and rbts. Additinally, research shws that peple are mre likely t fllw a rbt's guidance when it speaks in a natural human vice rather than a mechanical ne.
Research n rbt persnality features has fund that peple perfrm better in cllabrative tasks when the rbt's persnality aligns with their wn. In a memry game, peple made fewer errrs when interacting with a rbt that mirrred their persnality features and respnded mre psitively t rbts that matched their scial style. Hwever, when paired with anther human cllabratr in the same game, peple perfrmed better when their persnalities
were ppsite rather than similar. This difference is attributed t the way humans perceive persnality differences between each ther, which tends t create mre engaging interactins, leading t better perfrmance. In cntrast, when interacting with a rbt, peple interpret it as a high - tech device and prefer rbts that behave similarly t themselves, as this is seen as safer and easier t cntrl, allwing them t fcus mre n the task.
Beynd daily assistance, rbts culd play a transfrmative rle in educatin and mental well - being. Fr example, rbts can detect when a learner is struggling and adjust their instructinal style accrdingly. In well - being applicatins, scial rbts have been shwn t reduce anxiety by ffering cmpaninship and emtinal supprt, particularly in vulnerable ppulatins such as children and the elderly. Additinally, humanid rbts have demnstrated effectiveness as teaching assistants fr autistic (自闭的) children, helping them develp scial interactin skills.
As rbtic technlgy evlves, we may see rbts nt nly as assistants but as empathetic partners in educatin, therapy, and scial care.
      32. What kind f rbt expressins can imprve teamwrk?
      A. A calm face and n gaze shifts.
      B. A sad face and imprper gaze shifts.
      C. An emtinless face and direct gazes.
      D. A jyful face and apprpriate gaze shifts.
      33. Which can best replace the underlined part “aligns with” in paragraph 2?
      A. Cunts n.B. Cmpares with.C. Departs frm.D. Crrespnds t.
      34. What actually happened in the human - rbt game tasks?
      A. Peple tended t view rbts as scial equals.
      B. Rbts failed t make genuine emtinal respnses.
      C. Cntrl and predictability enhanced human task fcus.
      D. Similar persnalities successfully prevented cmmunicatin errrs.
      35. What's an advantage f rbts in educatin accrding t the text?
      A. Lng - term full engagement.B. Suitable educatinal strategies.
      C. Detecting risks in advance.D. Prviding translatin tls.

He was always bigger and faster than I was, s if we wrestled I wuld get beaten, and if we raced he wuld leave me in the dust. This instilled(培养) in me a drive t imprve myself. My brther was nt the brightest student. This mtivated me t be as gd a student as pssible.
