The Old Man and the Sea, a heric nvel by Ernest Hemingway, published in 1952 and awarded the 1953 Pulitzer Prize fr Fictin.
《老人与海》是欧内斯特·海明威的英雄主义小说,出版于1952年,获得1953年普利策小说奖。
Santiag was an ld fisherman. He hadn’t caught any fish fr 84 days. Everyne thught he was unlucky but he didn’t give up.
One day, he hked a giant Marlin fish far ut at sea. The fish was s pwerful that it pulled his small bat farther and farther t the pen sea.
Fr tw days and night, the ld man fught the fish with all his strength, even thugh he was tired, hungry and in pain.
Finally, the ld man defeated the Marlin and tied it t his bat. But his battle wasn’t ver. On his way hme, sharks were attracted by the bld f the fish. They attacked and ate the entire fish.
When the ld man finally returned t the shre, all he had left was a giant skeletn.

A man can be destryed but nt defeated.”□ Even thugh I’ve already read the bk three times, I’m nt tired f it yet. If yu’ve never read Ernest Hemingway, I recmmend this bk.

A Gd Bk I’ve just finished reading “Wh Mved My Cheese?” It’s such a simple stry, but yu can learn a lt frm it. The bk is abut tw little mice and tw dwarfs searching fr cheese. They face difficulties with different attitudes, s the results are different. The stry tells us that there are changes in ur life. We must change urselves t face the changing envirnment. Even thugh I’ve already read the bk tw times, I’m nt tired f it yet. If yu have never read it, I recmmend this bk.
