      One night, Phil read a magazine abut the idea f sending pictures and sund thrugh the air.       Phil tld his teacher abut a device that culd capture pictures. He drew a plan fr it and gave it t his teacher. Phil’s drawing seemed simple. But it clearly shwed the infrmatin needed t build a televisin. Phil’s teacher was Justin Tlman. Many years later, Phil wuld credit Mr. Tlman with guiding his imaginatin and helping him pen the drs f science.
      In 1927, Phil turned n a device that was the first wrking televisin receiver. In anther rm was the first televisin camera. Phil had invented the special camera tube earlier that year. While the image prduced n the receiver was nt clear, the device wrked.

      Angela Means, wner f the vegan Jackfruit Café in Ls Angeles, Califrnia, says peple are chsing a vegan diet fr many reasns. These factrs cver envirnmental prtectin, persnal health and mral cnsideratins.
      “We eat meat because f the texture and the spices. Jackfruit is a great substitute,” Means said.
