      “Well,” says the trtise, “If yu insist n (坚持) having anther pearl, give the first ne t me and I will fish anther ne fr yu.” Because f his greed (贪婪), the bird-catcher gives the pearl t the trtise, wh swims away with it saying, “I am n fl t take ne and give tw!” The trtise then disappears (消失) int the water quickly, leaving the bird-catcher withut a single pearl.
