      Unlike what yu may imagine, taking gd care f a plant can be difficult, especially when it cmes t hw t water a plant. Many peple are nt sure hw ften r hw much they need t water their plants.       GrwStream is a watering system (系统). Its tubes (管子) have special tiny hles in them. When plants need water, they will release (分泌) chemicals (化学物质). When the hles detect these chemicals, they will pen. The plants then get water frm these hles. As the plants "drink" enugh water, they stp releasing these chemicals. And that "tells" the hles t clse back up and stp watering.
      This system can help save 45 t 50 percent mre water than cmmn watering systems. It was created by a cmpany called RDI. The cmpany has brught the GrwStream system t many farms in Suth Africa. It is als testing the system in the US. It will be used t make the city greener while saving mre water.
