The device, frmed by a freestanding layer tribelectric nangeneratr array, is highly durable, perating stably acrss temperatures frm minus 40℃ t 60℃ and varying humidity(湿度) levels, making it suitable fr diverse glbal climates, accrding t the study published recently in the jurnal Science Advances. Its lw cst, estimated at just $71.3 per square meter, makes it a highly practicable slutin fr widespread adptin acrss extensive rad netwrks glbally.
Equipped with a self-pwered, intelligent and cnnected transprtatin system, the innvatin can supply energy t devices that mnitr vehicle speed and weight, enhancing rad safety and management withut relying n external pwer surces. Placing the harvester ver a 50-meter sectin can meet the pwer needs f traffic lights, cameras and ther facilities alng a ne-kilmeter rad.
“This breakthrugh ffers a new apprach t efficient radbed triblgical energy harvesting and distributed pwer supply, paving the way fr the integratin f vehicle-t-rad, vehicle-t-infrastructure (车辆与基础设施) and vehicle-t-everything systems,”said the paper’s c-crrespnding authrs Prfessr Wang and Prfessr Chen frm the BINN.
