One day in elementary schl, a friend asked me “What are yu eating?” as she glanced at my lunchbx. “It smells,” she said, nse crinkled.

Lking back, I wish I’d had the wisdm f Satya and ffered my friend a bite f my lunch, r just tld her it was delicius — especially because nw, as an adult, I see that Indian fd is universally lved by my friends. Sme even try t ck Indian lentils r chickpeas at hme! And when I’m hungry, guess what? I miss my mm’s bhindi rti and her care in making it fr me.
