Research backs that up. In 2022, Swedish researchers cnducted a study cmparing 11 cars with tuch screens t an lder mdel with physical buttns. They measured hw lng it tk drivers t perfrm simple tasks like changing radi statins r adjusting temperature while driving at 110 km/h.
The results were striking. In the lder car, drivers cmpleted all tasks in abut ten secnds, during which the car traveled apprximately 300 meters.
