In recent years, zer-waste living has been frm fashinable tpics t a way f life fr many peple, including myself. And I’ve gt an interesting way t help reduce sme f that waste.
Last year, I created sme free templates fr reusable, zer-waste embridered (刺绣) gift tags, and I’m excited t stitch (缝) up sme mre this year. Each ne can be made in less than 20 minutes, then reused ver and ver. Let me shw yu my steps:
· Print ut the gift tag templates, then cut ut the design yu want t make.
If yu’re making the tags in a card, print them directly nt yur card stck—but if yu’re making them in felt (毛毡), print them nt paper and draw the design nt the felt with tailr chalk.
· Using yur sewing needle and embridery thread, stitch the design n the template using the dts as a guide. It’s best t use a back stitch t create the design.
If yu’re stitching them in felt, yu can stitch thrugh bth the paper template and the felt, then get away the paper at the end. If yu’re stitching a card tag, try nt t bend r tear the card as yu d this. It might take a little practice t get a gd feel fr it.
