      “Peple dn’t cnnect with the museum as a place where they can cme, spend time, and enjy the pieces,” says Krutika Mhatre, wh leads the MOW prject. “The cncept f museums, with a bricked rm and a gallery f displayed bjects, is ld and utdated. It has evlved s much. Mst peple are nt much aware f this. We d nt have museums in remte areas, like the cuntryside. S reaching museums is als a task. With the intentin f slving the abve issues, the idea f the MOW was generated.
      Beginning in 2015, the MOW has tw buses that have travelled acrss the cuntry s far. The first-ever exhibitin n wheels happened in Mumbai and the theme f the exhibitin changes every six mnths. “Whenever we decide t change the theme, we speak with different schl teachers and educatrs t understand what wuld stimulate the children mre. If they are learning smething in the curriculum, we will display the related knwledge n the bus,” says Krutika.
