When we picture a schl, we ften think f a building with desks and a playgrund. But sme schls are very different. They are built t fit special envirnments and meet students’ needs. Let’s lk at three amazing examples.
●The Flating (漂浮的) Schls f Bangladesh
In Bangladesh, there are ften big flds (洪水). This makes it hard fr children t g t usual schls. T slve this, a grup started “flating schls” in 2002. These schls are bats that travel n rivers. Each bat has a classrm, bks, and slar pwer. Children learn basic subjects and als abut climate change. The bat picks up students frm different villages. Nw, these schls help ver 10,000 children every year.
●A Schl in Chile’s Atacama Desert (沙漠)
This schl is in the Atacama Desert, ne f the driest places n Earth. Here, the desert is the classrm. Students spend much f their time utside. They learn abut rare plants and use desert clay t make art. They als learn t save water, and it is very imprtant fr life in the desert. The schl believes in “slw learning,” letting students explre ne tpic fr a lng time.
●The Frest Schls f Finland
In Finland, sme schls hld classes in the frest. Fr 80% f the schl time, students learn utside, even in snw r rain. They measure trees fr math and write stries abut animals they see. Teachers find that students are happier after learning in nature.
