      Once the 30 minutes was ver, each grup was asked t spend five minutes n a creative task: they had t cme up with reasns why a hypthetical (假设的) persn was tw hurs late fr a meeting. The researchers fund that the bred grup came up with nt just mre ideas but mre creative ideas than the cntrl grup.
      The research fund that althugh sme previus research implies bredm can lead t dissatisfactin at a jb, bredm didn’t prduce unwanted emtins that culd be detrimental t mental health. In this case, peple wh were bred were just bred, and they walked away with a net benefit f creativity.
      “Bredm is nt miserable and harmful based n my research,” says the study’s lead authr, Guihyun Park. “Peple want t get ut f a bring state, s they are induced t nvelty-seeking (追求新奇的) unique thinking, which brings ut creativity.”
