      Step 1 Greeting and Lead - in (5 minutes)
      Greet students warmly: "Hell, bys and girls! Hw are yu tday?" Have a simple daily cnversatin with students t create a relaxed classrm atmsphere.
      Shw sme pictures f peple n hlidays, and guide students t bserve and ask: "What can yu see in the pictures? D yu like hlidays? What d yu usually d during hlidays?" Encurage students t speak actively and share their hliday activities, thus leading t the theme f this lessn - Happy Hliday.
      Step 2 Presentatin (8 minutes)
      Use PPT t shw the pictures f hliday activities in 1a, present phrases like "tk music lessns", "visited my grandparents", "went t a festival" ne by ne. Lead students t read and explain their meanings, and help students understand and remember them thrugh actins, pictures, etc.
      Teach new wrds like "ancient" and "amazing". Shw relevant pictures f ancient buildings and amazing scenery, and cmbine with examples like "This is an ancient building." "The view is amazing." t help students understand the usage f the wrds.
      Present key sentence patterns "Where n hliday/vacatin?", "Did he/she d anything interesting?", "Hw ". The teacher demnstrates reading, explains the sentence structure and usage, and guides students t understand the meanings f the sentences.
      Step 3 Listening Practice (10 minutes)
      Let students lk at the activities in 1a. The teacher says, "Nw, let's listen t sme cnversatins. Please circle the hliday activities yu hear in 1a." Play the recrding f 1b. After students cmplete the task, check the answers.
      Play the recrding f 1b again. Ask students t cmplete the tw summary blanks in 1b. After playing, invite students t share the answers, explain and check the answers t help students understand the listening cntent.
      Step 4 Pair Wrk (7 minutes)
      The teacher demnstrates: "Let's talk abut Yaming's and Emma's hlidays. Where did Yaming g n hliday? He went t Munt Huangshan. Did he d anything interesting? Yes, he saw the Guest - Greeting Pine, the Sea f Cluds, lts f strange rcks, and many ancient buildings."
      Let students wrk in pairs and talk abut Yaming's and Emma's hlidays fllwing the example. The teacher walks arund each grup, bserves the students' cnversatins, and gives guidance and help in a timely manner.
      Invite several grups f students t shw their cnversatins. Praise the excellent grups and crrect and encurage the grups with prblems.
      Step 5 Prnunciatin (5 minutes)
      Play the prnunciatin practice audi, shw the phnetic symbl classificatin, such as /i:/ (he, she, see, need, etc.), /ɪ/ (trip, swim, city, busy, etc.). Let students fllw and imitate, paying attentin t the muth shape and tngue psitin f prnunciatin.
      Play the audi again. Students fllw the reading. The teacher emphasizes the rhythm and intnatin f the sentences. Invite individual students t imitate and read, and crrect and guide them.
      Step 6 Listening and Speaking (10 minutes)
      Play the dialgue recrding f 2a. Let students listen and think abut the questins: "Where did Peter g n hliday? What did he d there?" After playing, invite students t answer the questins.
      Play the recrding again. Students fllw the reading f the dialgue, imitating the prnunciatin and intnatin. Then let students wrk in pairs, read the dialgue in rles, paying attentin t the prnunciatin,
      3.intnatin and emtinal expressin.
      Invite several grups f students t shw. Other students listen carefully and evaluate. The teacher finally summarizes and gives feedback.
      Step 7 Grammar Fcus (5 minutes)
      Shw the sentences in Grammar Fcus, guide students t bserve and find ut the indefinite prnuns in them, such as "anything", "nthing", "smene", "anyne", etc.
      Explain the basic usage f indefinite prnuns. Cmpare thrugh examples like "Did yu d anything interesting n yur hliday? (used in interrgative sentences)", "I met smene interesting. (used in affirmative sentences)", "N, nthing special. (used in negative sentences)" t help students understand their usage in different sentence patterns.
      Step 8 Practice (5 minutes)
      Let students cmplete the dialgue - filling exercise in 3b, using the learned indefinite prnuns t cmplete the sentences. The teacher walks arund and bserves the students' answering situatins, and gives guidance in a timely manner.
      Invite students t share the answers, explain and check the answers, and fcus n explaining and strengthening the exercises fr students' mistakes.

      Recite the key wrds and phrases learned in this lessn. Parents shuld sign t cnfirm, and there will be a small vcabulary quiz the next day.
      Write a shrt passage abut yur wn hliday experience using the key sentence patterns and indefinite prnuns learned, with n less than 50 wrds.
      Preview the cntent f 3a - 3d in Sectin A, and try t understand the general idea f the text.
