【12题详解】
细节理解题。根据文章第一段和第二段提到的“The cnversatinal tne f an AI chatbt r vice- based assistant seems like a gd way t learn new cncepts, but they may actually make us mre willing t believe inexact infrmatin cmpared with that presented like a Wikipedia article.T investigate this issue, Snja Utz at the University f Tübingen, Germany, and her clleagues asked abut 1,200 participants t search fr infrmatin using ne f the three tls.(人工智能聊天机器人或基于语音的助手的对话语气似乎是学习新概念的好方法,但与维基百科文章中呈现的信息相比,它们实际上可能会让我们更愿意相信不准确的信息。为了调查这个问题,德国图宾根大学的Snja Utz及其同事让大约1200名参与者使用三种工具之一来搜索信息)”可知,研究的主要目的是探索信息呈现方式如何影响人们对信息的信任度。故选C项。
【13题详解】
词句猜测题。根据第四段中的“It’s lng been understd that peple are easily cnvinced that bjects that display r mimic lifelike qualities are in fact alive,(长期以来,人们认为那些显示或___逼真品质的物体实际上是活着的)”和后面的“humans seem t be used t see life where it desn’t exist and t give trust t things that seem lifelike.(人类似乎习惯于在不存在生命的地方看到生命,并且会对那些看似有生命特征的事物给予信任)”可知,对于那些展示生命特征或者模仿逼真品质的物体,人们是信任的。“mimic”在此处的意思是“模仿”。故选A项。
