Musk eventually made a full recvery, but it invlved spending tw mnths n his back, which gave him plenty f time t cme up with a plan. Since then, he has launched an initiative t put “learning gardens” in public schls acrss America; attracted Generatin Z t the farming prfessin by changing shipping cntainers int high-tech, data-driven, year-rund farms; and this year, is kicking ff a new campaign t create ne millin at-hme gardens.

Bees seem t fly aimlessly as they search fr the sugary liquid called nectar(花蜜). But their flight plans actually d have a pattern. Flwers act as the insects’ air-traffic cntrllers. And new research shws bees prefer flwers that aren’t t flashy.
Flwers give bees clues abut hw much a plant can ffer. Thse clues can be in the clr f petals in the type, in the smell r even in the electrical charge. All f these characteristics send signals t the bees, telling them whether t land r nt, amng which the clrs play the mst significant rle. The insects keep track f the clr f the flwers that are especially rich in nectar. They then visit mre flwers f that clr.
Hwever, clr can’t guarantee bees a gd meal. It may change depending n the angle at which sun light hits its petals. A yellw flwer, fr example, may lk smewhat blue frm ne angle and red frm anther. Beverley Glver studies plants at the University f Cambridge in England. Glver and her clleagues shwed that even when the clr f petals lks similar, bees behave differently in searching fr nectar. They started t guess that the strength f petals’ iridescence(色彩斑斓) might be related t hw bees find the petals.
Glver and her clleagues tested their hypthesis in the lab. In their experiment, they fund that bees felt cnfused smetimes when the petals were very iridescent and that bees had n prblem finding the flwers with mre nectar when the petals were nt very iridescent. The team shared its new findings in the March 21 Current Bilgy.
“At first glance, it’s very surprising because animals can usually detect a mre vivid signal mre easily,” says Klaus Lunau, a bilgist in Germany, wh was nt invlved in the study.
28.What can we knw abut the flight f bees?
A.They usually fly in a regular pattern.B.They fly under the directin f flwers.
C.They usually fly withut any purpse.D.They fly t sme very flashy flwers.

A.The petals’ type.B.The fllwers’ smell.
C.The fllwers’ electrical charge.D.The petals’ clr.
30.What des the underlined wrd “hypthesis” in paragraph 4 prbably mean?
A.Discussin.B.Methd.C.Assumptin.D.Inventin.
31.What is the new finding f the team?
A.Petals that are nt very flashy are better fr bees t make adjustments.
B.Petals f different clr usually give different signals.
C.Petals that are vivid are detected by bees mre easily.
D.Petals f different types make bees cnfused t find the right flwer.

Is future yu... yu? It might seem like a strange philsphical questin. But the answer t hw yu think abut yur future self culd make the difference between decisins yu ultimately find satisfying and nes yu might eventually regret.
The brain patterns that emerge n an MRI(核磁共振) when peple think abut their future selves mst resemble the brain patterns that arise when they think abut strangers. This finding suggests that, in the mind’s eye, ur future selves lk like ther peple. If yu see future yu as a different persn, why shuld yu save mney, eat healthier r exercise mre regularly t benefit that stranger?
Hwever, if yu see the interests f yur distant self as mre like thse f yur present self, yu are cnsiderably mre likely t d things tday that benefit yu tmrrw. A paper in the jurnal PLOS One revealed that cllege students wh experienced a greater sense f cnnectin and similarity t their future selves were mre likely t achieve academic success. Relatinships with ur future selves als matter fr general psychlgical well-being. In a prject led by Jseph Reiff, which includes 5,000 adults aged 20 t 75, he fund that thse wh perceived a great verlap(重叠) in traits between their current and future selves ended up being mre satisfied with their lives 10 years after filling ut the initial survey.
S hw can we better befriend ur future selves and feel mre cnnected t their fates? The psychlgical mindset with what we call “vividness interventins” wrks. We have fund, fr instance, that shwing peple images f their lder, grayer selves increases intentins t save fr the lng term. Besides, yu might try writing a letter t—and then frm—yur future self. As demnstrated by Yuta Chishima and Anne Wilsn in their 2020 study in the jurnal Self and Identity, when high-schl students engaged in this type f “send-and-reply” exercise, they experienced elevated levels f feelings f similarity with their future selves.
Letter-writing and visualizatin exercises are just a cuple f ways we can cnnect with ur future selves and beynd, but the larger lessn here is clear: If we can treat ur distant selves as if they are peple we lve, care abut and want t supprt, we can start making chices fr them that imprve ur lives—bth tday and tmrrw.
32.What’s the functin f paragraph 2?
A.Generating further discussin.B.Intrducing a research result.
C.Shwing the effect f the finding.D.Cncluding varius viewpints.
33.Hw des the authr prve his statements?
A.By ffering relevant statistics.B.By using qutatins.
C.By referring t previus findings.D.By making cmparisns.
34.What is paragraph 4 mainly abut?
A.Benefits f befriending ur future selves.B.Ways f cnnecting with ur future selves.
C.Methds f changing psychlgical mindsets.D.Pssibilities f us becming ur future selves.
35.What des the article want t tell us?
A.Making future plans makes a difference.B.Our future selves lk like ther peple.
C.Getting t knw yur future self benefits.D.Yur chice determines future happiness.

38 Nw why reading and nt watching TV? Because reading has been the mst educative tl used by us right frm the childhd. Just like that t develp ther aspects f ur life, we have t turn t reading. Once yu read a bk, yu just dn’t run yur eyes thrugh the lines, but even yur mind decdes(解读) it and explains it t yu. The interesting part f the bk is stred in yur mind as a seed. 39 It, if used many times, can help yu link and relate a lt f things, f which yu wuld have never thught!

Unlike traditinal artificial teeth, which are remvable, dental implants are surgically placed int the jawbne and then tpped with a restratin such as a dental crwn. They feel much mre natural than cnventinal alternatives.
Additinally, dental implants can help t prevent bne deteriratin(退化) that is caused by missing teeth. The bne begins t deterirate when yu lse a tth because it is n lnger being stimulated daily. This can lead t severe bne lss ver time. But by placing dental implants int the jawbne, we can preserve this structure.
