Wrking rbts are typically big, simple and strng. They are large preprgrammed units wrking in dangerus jbs. But the idea f putting “cbts” which wrk in harmny with humans int use has becme a reality and has changed rbtic prducts wrldwide.
Cbts include rbts made f tugh materials that prvide supprt fr the disabled and sftware-based assistants fr hme f nline services. With their perating sftware updated frm the Internet, these helpers will becme an extensin(延伸) f mbile devices.
Mst industrial rbts are nt designed t deal with unpredictable human jbs. Hwever, by reducing rbts dwn t desktp size and planting them with AI, the next generatin f cbts will learn frm us and cperate with us better. Lightweight cbts can wrk in less space and share themselves with peple rather than being caged ff. Decreasing csts fr rbtic systems make them mre suitable fr small businesses, and their easy set-up makes them simple t deply(利用). Typical industrial uses fr cbts include packing and machine tending. Mre detailed uses include cleaning dirty samples, picking plants, making tea and cffee and s n.
Still, experts thught that intrducing rbts wuld lead t jb lsses. Sme peple said that 20 millin industrial jbs wuld be lst wrldwide by 2030. Actually, it was nt the case. What big cmpanies such as Germany’s Mercedes-Benz discvered was that rbts alne were nt intelligent enugh t keep pace with the demand fr special prducts, which still depends n a large number f skilled staff t cntrl and push the whle prgress.
“Unplanned changes t prductin and safer interactin with humans will then require a step change in rbt imprvements. It has becme necessary t use the new generatin f cbts in peple’s daily life, and cperatin(合作) shuld be cnsidered as an applicable strategy. When we make peple and machines cperate, we can prduce many mre prducts n ne prductin line,” said Markus Schaefer, head f prductin planning.

On the eighteenth, I wrte the first fur pages f the “On Writing” sectin. That was where my writing still std in late July, when I decided I’d better get back t wrk, r at least try.

There are plenty f plugins s yu can have yur laptp, the little printer, and a fan.” A cuple f hurs later, she had made me a wnderful little nest there: laptp and printer, my ntes, pens, and reference n the crner f the desk was a framed picture f ur yunger sn, which she had taken earlier that summer.
“Is it all right?” she asked.
“It’s wnderful,” I said, and hugged her. It was wnderful. S is she.
That first writing sessin lasted an hur and frty minutes, by far the lngest perid I’d spent sitting upright since being struck by Bryan Smith’s car. When it was ver, I was sweating and almst t tired t sit up straight in my wheelchair. And the first five hundred wrds were uniquely terrifying—it was as if I’d never written anything befre them in my life. All my ld tricks seemed t have deserted(抛弃) me. I stepped frm ne wrd t the next like a very ld man finding his way acrss a stream n a winding line f wet stnes. There was n inspiratin that first afternn, nly a kind f stubbrn determinatin and the hpe that things wuld get better if I kept at it.
There was n breakthrugh that afternn, unless it was the rdinary miracle that cmes with any attempt t create smething. All I knw is that the wrds started cming a little faster after a while, then a little faster still. My back still hurt, my leg, t, but thse hurts began t seem a little farther away. I started t get n tp f them. There was n sense f excitement— nt that day—but there was a sense f accmplishment that was almst as gd.
After that, things can nly get better.
