      Denali in suthern Alaska is 6,190 meters abve sea level. S, climbing it requires a high level f skill. Climbers als need t acclimate t high altitudes (海拔), which is nt needed fr mst muntains in the US.
      The Natinal Park Service recently made a statement warning that many climbers in the Alaska Range are shwing signs f inexperience and vercnfidence. After reprting n deaths in 2018 and 2019, at least tw peple have already died n the muntain in 2021. Tw thers were seriusly injured, fficials said.
      Earlier this mnth, a skier frm the state f Clrad died after falling int a very deep cut in the ice. A climber frm the state f Idah was killed by a large falling piece f ice.
      The guards made their statement after a Canadian climber was seriusly injured after falling nearly 305meters. He was nt wearing climbing rpes. Other climbers reprted the fall. Peple in a helicpter (直升机) studying muntain ice in the area were able t save the man,park fficials said.
      The Park Service statement named several reasns fr the increase in injuries and deaths. They include extreme tiredness, untested bdy reactins t high altitudes, quickly changing weather, and nt bringing the right equipment.
      In recent years,guards said they have seen mre climbers try t make Denali’s tp by climbing the 2,134 meters frm the final base camp t the tp in ne day. This is nearly impssible t d except fr the mst experienced climbers.

      Kurtis Baute lcked himself in a 3m by 3m tent in his brther’s backyard in British Clumbia, Canada. He hped t find ut if by surrunding himself with plants, the CO2 he breathed ut culd be changed int xygen t allw him t survive in the lcked tent fr at least three days. Unfrtunately, he had t give up the experiment after nly 15 hurs, as CO2 levels reached a dangerus pint where he risked suffering brain damage.
      “I culd prbably survive in the tent fr three days,” Baute wrte n his website. “But my gal is nt t just ‘nt die’. My gal is t end this prject withut develping brain damage r just generally causing lasting harm t my bdy. But as it turns ut, that’s exactly what he risked as the 200 plants he tk with him int the tent culdn’t meet his needs. Clearly, a cludy sky prevented them frm receiving all the sunlight they needed t perfrm phtsynthesis (光合作用), s they culdn’t recycle CO2 fast enugh.
      “Plants are great at taking in CO2 and they lve it. Since it wasn’t a bright and sunny day, they weren’t getting the light they needed, which meant CO2 just kept rising. I had t give up the experiment as that cntinued.” the yung experimenter said.
      15 hurs int the experiment, Baute reached the set danger pint and then ended this experiment. Still, he called the experiment a “huge success” as his main gal was actually the terrible effects f climate change and CO2 emissins. “The cnclusin abut my experiment is that if CO2 is t high, I’ll escape, which is just everyday experiences fr many peple n this planet.
