On a full-mn night in 1988, a yung park keeper named Bruce Barnes paddled a
bat int the wetlands f Luisiana’s Barataria Preserve. It was 2 a. m. when he pulled ut his instrument and
Bruce
Luisiana’s rhythms, he says, are as place-specific as its marshes and frests.
The wetlands even prduce their wn music. Barnes has visited Barataria at night with a sund engineer, capturing
故选 A 项。

On a full-mn night in 1988, a yung park keeper named Bruce
Barnes paddled a bat int the wetlands f Luisiana’s Barataria Preserve.(1988
Bruce Barnes
“Barnes retired frm the Natinal Park Service in 2015. He still plays music full time, and he remains a naturalist,
leading walking turs and phtgraphing medicinal plants.(Barnes 于 2015 年从国家公园管理局退休。
“Plants and music, t Barnes, all have magic pwer. Plants and music, t Barnes, all have magic pwer. In his
adpted hme, they are never far frm each ther.(对 Barnes 来说,植物和音乐都有魔力。

But when yu have fears and wrries, yu need t knw that peple react mre psitively t
disclsures (透露的秘闻) than yu ften imagine.
结合下文的“But when yu take the risk t d s, yur friend will recgnize yur sincerity.
“It might take curage t reveal smething sensitive.
Just like the leaves that nbdy hears falling, a disclsure with n listener is barely a disclsure at all.
所做的事情没有听众一样,B 选项“Yu culd shut yur secret in an empty frest.
When yu reveal secrets t thers, yu are ften lking fr help, and seeking ut the peple wh
prve mst helpful. Speaking abut a negative experience can have the side-effect f bringing back the negative
emtins yu assciate it with.
选项“That’s why shuting yur secret ut is ften nt enugh.
Anther persn can ffer yu tw different kinds f help: emtinal supprt and practical supprt. If
yu can find smene yu feel cmfrtable pening up t, they are likely t give yu ne if nt bth kinds.
The harm f negative thinking is easier t break when we bring
thers in.
C 选项“This means it is time t talk t smene.
This is all the mre reasn t share what’s n yur mind. When yu pen up t thers and they will
pen up t yu.
