    and 表示“和”,“而且”,并列关系。
    历史是我最喜爱的学科,但我的姐姐不喜欢它。
    Histry is my favrite subject, but my sister desn’t like it.
    Bilgy is difficult but imprtant.
    but 表示“但是”,并列且转折关系。
    我喜欢语文因为它很有趣。
    他不喜欢数学因为它是无聊的。
    He desn’t like math because it’s bring.
    I like Chinese because it’s fun.
    because 表示“因为”,解释原因。
    Cmplete the statements with and, but, r because.

    不独立担任句子成分,只起连接词与词,短语与短语以及句与句的作用。
    (1) and 连接两个并列成分① “和”,否定句中用r。但如果前后名词都用n修饰,则可以用and。 The air was s warm and bright. It has n feet r legs.  It has n eyes and n ears. I have n sister r brther.② “然后”。用于连接两句有时间上先后的句子。 She washed the dishes and dried them. ③ 表示目的,意图。用于g, cme, stp, run, stay等动词后。 Cme and have a drink. G and buy ne. 
    ④ “只要„„就会„„”“如果„„那么„„”, 用于祈使句后,表示条件与结果的关系, “祈使句, + and + 句子”。 Knck n the dr, and it will be pened. Cme late again, and yu’ll be fired. 
    ① 表转折“但是,可是,而,却”。 He is in pr health, but he still kept wrking. ② 用在表示歉意的话后,引起一个分句,这个but通常不译成汉语。 Excuse me, but can yu tell me hw t get t the railway statin? ③ 不与althugh/thugh (“虽然,尽管”) 连用。  Thugh he is ld, he wrks hard.   He is ld, but he wrks hard. ④ 作介词,表示“除了„„之外”。  She did nthing but watch TV.  
    3.连词 because
    because是连词,意为“因为”,可以用来引导原因状语从句。汉语中的“因为……所以……”常常连用,但在英语中because和s不能同时连用。如:
    因为数学有趣所以我喜欢它。Because Math is interesting, I like it. = Math is interesting, s I like it.
    The bk is very interesting, s we all like it. 这本书很有趣,我们都很喜欢它。
    = Because the bk is very interesting, we all like it.
    前后均为同层次的单词、短语或句子

    Fill in the blanks using and,but,because.
    ① “和”,否定句中代替and。  I dn’t like bananas r pears. ② “一般疑问句+ r+被选择的部分”构成选择疑问句。  D yu like apples r pears?  Wuld yu like tea r cffee? ③ “祈使句+r +陈述句”,表示 “„„,否则,„„”  Hurry up, r yu will be late.  Wrk hard, r yu cannt pass this exam. ④ r s 大约,左右  I’ll be there in an hur r s. 
    ⑤ r 常用either…r… 结构 :“要么…..要么….; 或者…..或者” 连接并列主语时,谓语动词的人称要与最后的那个主语保持一致。 Either yu r he is right. 要么你要么他是对的。
    s :表示因果关系,连接表示因果的句子。 在一个句子中不能同时出现because和s.     These buildings were ver 50 years ld, s they were nt strng enugh.  这些建筑物已有50多年的历史,因此不够坚固。
