过去进行时的用法

现在进行时和always，usually，all the time等连用时，表示一种经常、反复的动作，且说话人往往带有某种感情色彩(如赞扬、厌烦等)
She’s always helping thers.
Yu are always talking in class.
1. 表示过去某一时刻正在发生的动作
They were watching TV at ten ’clck last night.
2. 表示过去某一段时间内一直在做的动作
He was ding his hmewrk between 8:00 and 9:00 n Sunday mrning.
3. 可描述故事发生的背景：一个长动作发生的时候，另一个短动作突然发生。长动作(延续性动词)用过去进行时，短动作(点动词)用一般过去时
When my mther came back, I was watching TV.
When/while I was watching TV, my mther came back.
4. 可表示两个动作同时进行
注：两个动作同时发生，并且都是长动作（延续性动词）时，才能都用过去进行时
While I was watching TV, my mther was cking.
5. 与always，frever等连用，表示厌恶、埋怨、表扬、喜爱等感情色彩
My father was always smking when he was yung.
She was always thinking f thers.
6. 可表示过去将来，多用于g, cme, leave, start, take ff等表示位移的动词
He said he was leaving fr hme in a day r tw.
