I recently went n my first verseas vacatin t Greece. I was with my in-laws and my wife, and naturally, we went t restaurants whenever we were hungry. Everyne was allwed t mve at their wn pace, pay when they were ready t pay, and leave when they were ready t leave. 25. 根据文章第三段“The servers seemed t be s attentive t everyne else in the restaurants, the lcals, but fr the bvius grup f turists, we were just left t wait, wait, and wait! 故选A。
根据文章最后一段“The servers wuld expect the custmers t apprach r signal them that they were dne, rather than checking every few minutes t get things mving.(服务员会希望顾客走向他们或者向他们发出信号,告诉他们已经吃完了,而不是每隔几分钟来检查一次。)”
根据最后一段“The servers wuld expect the custmers t apprach r signal them that they were dne, rather than checking every few minutes t get things mving. What a nvel experience!

根据文章第一段“Tilapia (罗非鱼) skin is rich in cllagen (胶原蛋白), a prtein that helps build and repair tissues. Because f this, tilapia skin has becme ppular in medicine.(罗非鱼皮富含胶原蛋白,这是一种有助于生成和修复组织的蛋白质。
根据文章第二段“She fcused n eye prblems like crneal ulcers and perfratins, which are cmmn in dgs with shrt nses. “These dgs have eyes sticking ut frm their faces,” she says. 故选A。
根据文章倒数第二段“Tilapia skin has a high and cnsistent quality f cllagen thrughut the fish’s life, while the quality f hrse placental cllagen can vary depending n the hrse’s age and weight.(罗非鱼在其一生中,鱼皮中的胶原蛋白质量始终保持在较高水平且稳定,而马胎盘胶原蛋白的质量则会因马的年龄和体重而异)”可知,因为马胎盘胶原蛋白的质量受马的年龄和体重等因素影响,这意味着在马生长的不同阶段,马胎盘胶原蛋白的质量不稳定,可能并非在任何阶段都能稳定获取到符合要求的马胎盘胶原蛋白。故选D。
根据文章最后一段“S far, Mel has treated ver 400 dgs using tilapia skin. The dgs shwed n pain r infectin after surgery and healed quickly with minimal scarring. Mel is nw planning t use this technique n cats and is even discussing hw t adapt it fr treating human eyes, which are very sensitive and difficult t treat.(到目前为止,Mel已经用罗非鱼皮治疗了 400 多只狗。

根据划线词上文“The earliest reprted age when children understand pretence was fur mnths and by the age f 13 mnths, arund half were reprted (据报道,孩子理解假装的最早年龄是四个月,到13个月大的时候,有一半的孩子被报道……)” 故选A。
根据文章最后一段的“The lead authr said, “With further research, the findings have the ptential t be used as a diagnstic tl fr develpmental differences in early years. This culd ultimately help parents, preschl educatrs, and medical prfessinals better understand hw t play with children at different stages f develpment.”(主要作者说道:“通过进一步的研究,这些发现有可能被用作诊断早期发育差异的工具。
根据文章第一段“Accrding t new research, babies recgnize pretence and arund half f children can pretend by themselves by 12 mnths.(根据一项新的研究,婴儿在12个月大的时候就能识别出假装,大约一半的孩子能自己假装。)”
