Traveling t Tky is interesting. Yu can find a slew f Vide Arcades and there yu can find a war fr flr space amng fighting games, the newly established virtual card games, and my devtin, music games, fighting fr audible space f each flr.
And then I came acrss this machine, Chunithm.
I didn’t think much f it at first. There were a new breed f music games t try that aren’t really seen in the whle US, s I wanted t get my hands n them at least nce.
The gameplay and chart(谱面) lked simple enugh. Ntes cme dwn the track, and yu smash the crrespnding keys t the rhythm. The innvatin was the “air slider”, which definitely made the game stand ut frm the generic buttn-mashers that yu typically find in the rhythm-game genre.
There was smething ff with my thinking thugh. These machines fund in every arcade in Tky was always crwded with a wait, 3-4 peple always in line t get their hands n the machine. I had t keep playing, t find ut what they must’ve fund addicting abut the game. Every SEGA music game has a similar track list, a glrified jukebx can be anything but , culdn’t it?
It was then that I realized that sme peple weren’t playing t Expert mde… Their game said Master Mde. I had a new gal in hit. After a few mre games, I had unlcked a sng with Master Mde, which required an S rank n that sng. It was disheartening that it wasn’t just ne S-rank sng t unlck entire Master Mde sngs, but I guess I can see the ratinale behind it. And it was nly at this pint when I embarked n having fun with the Chunithm.
Yu culd say that I eventually fund my hme between Skill and Difficulty, but I still cnsider it’s mre than that. What I fund was that playing all ther mdes befre Master Mde was just a means t prepare the player fr Master Mde. It’s nt all games that truly pen up at its hardest difficulties, but fr music games in particular it requires a strng synergy between sight and sunds and fluency with yur instrument. A cre reasn why music games will be my mistress(情妇) and I’ll always be hunting fr the next mdel t trial, regardless f what new appealing games get released is unveiled.
Chunithm is a rare game that takes a while t becme fun, but quickly becmes an addictin when that fun arrives. Enugh s that I kept playing up until my last mments in Tky.
4.Which is the best explanatin t the sentence “fighting fr audible space f each flr”?
A.Arcade games were received widespread acclaim in Tky.
B.There were filled with energy and enthusiasm in the arcade.
C.Players smashed the keys nsily t express their favurite.

C.There is a relatively jump in difficulty in the Master Mde in Chunithm.
D.Regarding the writer, jukebx Chunithm is challenging but addictive.
6.The authr cnsiders music games as his mistress because .
A.there was an unmentined affair between the music-games mistress and the authr.
B.his adratin f cperative actin cnsistently attract his enthusiasm.
C.he fell in lve with Chunithm after he discvered the principle behind its gameplay.
D.it is the presumable cause f his hunting fr the music-games mdel t play.
7.The paragraph is mainly excerpted frm .
    A.a fictitius autbigraphical nvel
    B.an pen-ended American scial blg
    C.a special clumn n SEGA’s fficial website
D.an intrductin t arcade music games in the brchure
Despite basts that Gne With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell is “the greatest rmance f ur time,” this apprximately 1,000-page bk is nt just a rmance. Its intense fcus n a ruthless herine neatly underscres what this brick f a bk is instead: an explratin f transfrmatin, lss, and the deep unfairness f life.
There’s little happiness in Gne With the Wind. Neither herine Scarlett nr Rhet are likable peple; their relatinship is an unhealthy ne, with Rhet abusing Scarlett after they marry. It’s the Civil War that hards the sptlight. This war backdrp, as is true f all war backdrps, lends the stry an imprtant gravitas and drama; hwever, this same backdrp infuses Gne With the Wind with an undercurrent f hpelessness, and an all-encmpassing hpelessness it is.
T say that everything hinges n the war backdrp wuldn’t be exaggerating; the war affects each character prfundly, prviding the meaning behind their mst significant actins. It’s the narrative’s very life frce. Margaret Mitchell put a human face n this war that’s remarkable, and her gruesme (but nt gratuitusly s) descriptins strike all the right emtinal chrds at just the right intensity.
Besides, she impressively juxtapsed the war’s atrcities with Scarlett’s superficial frets; this yung wman shamelessly laments her lack f stylish dresses while just a few miles away men lie bleeding t death in cramped hspitals withut benefit f painkillers. Scarlett mst certainly is a fearless wman with a strng independent streak, but she’s easy t despise(鄙视). She’s nt s unlikable thugh.
Eventually, it’s wrth mentining that Gne With the Wind’s Suthern sensibility is very strng. The Suth here is a living character all its wn, and this vividness lends even deeper resnance t the stry while breathing life int its large cast f characters. It is knwing that sme have taken–and d take–issue with the Gergia f this era, when slavery and sexism were very much a reality; hwever, it’s always clear that Mitchell’s gal was nly authenticity and accuracy in prtrayal, and she wasn’t expressing persnal sentiments. Her Pulitzer Prize is well deserved.
8.What can we infer frm the bk Gne With the Wind?
A.The cnflict f the civilizatin serves as the backgrund.
B.The gruesme narrative strike an intense sensatin.
C.Characters were influenced frm the pstwar syndrme.
    D.There was n authr’s sensibility t suth expressed.
9.Which f the fllwing wrds cannt describe Scarlett?
    A.cruelB.tragicC.big-headedD.rmantic
10.Why is the Scarlett’s frets mentined in the Paragraph 4?
A.T exemplify the backdrp is nt exaggerating.
B.T prvide reasns fr the dubt f Scarlett’s character.
C.T demnstrate the unjust treat f sciety t Scarlett.
D.T shwcase sympathy and lament t Scarlett.
    11.Which is the best title?
A.What I Fund in Rereading Gne With the Wind
B.The Impact f Pulitzer Prize n Gne With the Wind
C.What Is the War Lessn frm Gne With the Wind
D.The Reasn Mitchell’s Pulitzer Prize Is Deserved
Gregariusness requires prximity, and this can be bad in case there is a risk such as a deadly virus that spreads thrugh the air. Als, gregarius state f affairs invlve privacy. I argued that gregariusness des nt preclude the emergence f strnger frms f sciability. Hwever, there are sme gregarius places that invlve t much privacy, which makes it difficult fr peple t apprach ne anther, taking the library fr instance. The sciability present in gregariusness might nt be sufficient fr a persn nt t feel lnely. It is all t cmmn t hear peple cmplaining that, in big cities, there are n meaningful interactins. Mark Twain, way back in 1867, said that New Yrk ‘is a splendid desert – a dmed slitude, where the stranger is lnely in the midst f a millin f his race’. Humans need mre than just nt being alne. We need t make meaningful cnnectins, frm intimacy and be part f well-established grups. Hwever, the negative experience f the lckdwn supprts the idea that the s-called ‘meaningless sciability’ s cmmn in big cities is actually quite imprtant. Humans are cmplex and delicate creatures. We need a whle array f different frms f sciability, as well as being alne smetimes.
Befre the pandemics, I d nt remember lking frward t taking a bus. It was smething I had t d, and I wuld always avid sitting nearby ther peple. Even thugh I d nt miss getting a bus every day, there is smething I miss. The almst cmplete absence f sharing space with thers reveals that sharing space is mre than nrmative relatins. There is a quality t it. It is this quality that makes me chse t drink cffee in a café and nt at hme.
Mst theries in scial ntlgy(社会本体论), especially n jint actin, have fcused n the ratinality f crdinating r n nrmativity(规范性). They apprach sciability in a rather cld way. They verlk the warmth f the scial wrld. We share ur presence with thers nt nly because we have t. We als desire t. These theries fcus n hw humans have the cgnitive tls t engage in scial interactins, but they seem t frget the mst basic: we d nt want t be alne. This is true fr many animals, nt just humans. Like penguins and elephants, humans are gregarius creatures. It is at the fundatinal level f the scial wrld. It is the grund upn which the scial nrms and cnventins can build their castles.
12.What des the authr imply abut gregariusness?
A.It desn't guarantee that peple wn't feel lnely.
    B.It necessarily requires cmplete privacy.
C.It always leads t strnger frms f sciability.
D.It nly exists in places like libraries.
13.Why des the authr mentin Mark Twain's descriptin f New Yrk?
A.T emphasize the lneliness in crwded places.
B.T shw the prsperity f big cities.
C.T prve that New Yrk is a city that makes peple lnely.
D.T intrduce an interesting qute abut lneliness.
14.Accrding t the text, what d mst theries in scial ntlgy take fr granted?
A.The basic desire f humans nt t be alne.
B.The rle f nrmativity in jint actin.
C.The imprtance f ratinality in scial interactins.
D.The cmplexity f scial nrms and cnventins.
15.What can we infer frm the authr's attitude twards taking a bus befre the pandemics?
A.The authr didn't realize the value f sharing space.
B.The authr enjyed the privacy n the bus.
C.The authr hated taking the bus.
D.The authr preferred t be alne all the time.

E.Each SEKAI manifests differently, reflecting the diverse emtinal landscapes f thse wh access it
F.embark n their captivating musical adventure
G.It allws fr a fluid mvement between the tangible reality f Tky and the ethereal realms f SEKAI
Lady Feng with hurried steps t the centre f the rm. “If we are t play at frfeits(行酒令),” she prpsed, “we’d better invite sister Yuan Yang t cme and jin us.”
The whle was perfectly aware that if dwager(老年贵妇) Chia had t the rule f frfeits, Yuan Yang wuld necessarily have t suggest it, s the mment they heard the they, with agreement, apprved it as excellent. Lady Feng therefre dragged Yuan Yang ver.

Like ther natinal literatures, American literature was shaped by the histry f the cuntry that prduced it.
