Als, part f the fee yu’ve paid ges tward fd, s yu wn’t need t put that n yur list either. Walking ples can get in the way when t many hikers are using them, s it’s best t leave thse at hme. The mst imprtant item is a cmfrtable pair f bts. Even flat-heeled shes and sneakers aren’t adequate fr the type f hiking we’ll be ding.
    Next, I’ll repeat the rules. As yu knw, there’ll be a leader walking at the head f the line, wh will shw the grup the way. At the end f the line will be anther leader. It’s imprtant t stay ahead f this persn. When yu cme t the crssrads, stp and wait fr the rest f the grup t catch up. We’ll be climbing thrugh sme steep and rcky areas. Dn’t be tempted t g n yur wn.
