本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材(中等职业学校公共基础课程教材),《英语1 基础模块》中第八单元的热身(Warming Up)和听说(Listening and Speaking)板块,要求学生能交流关于重要人物与事件的看法,同时在交谈中获取重要人物与事件的相关信息,并能谈论最喜欢的事物。
学情分析
本单元的话题为重要的人和事件。对于这一话题,同学们也许能够列举出一些重要的人和事件,但是对于这些重要人物的具体成就,以及重大事件对于社会一些影响了解的还不够深入。而如果要让他们用英语来表达,不管从词汇的积累,还是从句式的使用来说,学生都会有一定的难度。因此教师在教学活动中引导学生结合自身的学习体会,由简到繁,由机械模仿到替换练习,再到语言实践,最终能就重要人物与事件的看法进行交流,并能谈论最喜欢的事。

Step 1:
Lead in
Shw the pictures f sme famus peple(Cai Lun, Clumbus,Zhan Tianyu...) and ask the questin: What d yu knw abut him/her?
Get familiar with these famus peple and their cmmitments.
通过小游戏的方式展示名人事迹,引起学生的兴趣,为后面热身部分做铺垫。
Step 2:
Warming up
Lk and match.
Firstly,the teacher teaches the new wrs: hld, prduce, in large numbers,paper-making. And then ask students t match.
Read and guess.
Analyze the imprtant wrds: recrd and share knwledge, then let students read it and guess the riddle.
Lk at the pictures carefully, then read the sentences and match.
Translate the passage int Chinese and guess the answer.
本环节旨在激活学生已积累的百科知识,并为学生提供单元后续活动开展所需的词汇
与表达。猜谜活动则能在为听力活动做语言和背景知识准备的同时,锻炼学生的思维能力。

Listening
Pre-listening
Play an English vide abut Cai Lun’s paper-making.
While-listening
Listen and tick
Lead students read the chices first and predict the listening cntent.
Listen and chse
Let students read the chices first and be sure f the pints they shuld fcus n while listening.
Listen and cmplete
Befre listening fr the third time, deal with the new wrds: invent, quality, then read the sentences and predict the answers.
Watch the vide and get familiar with Cai Lun’s paper-making.
Listen t the tape three times and get familiar with it’s general idea and sme imprtant details such as the inventin time, quality,price and imprtance.
为听力内容做背景铺垫。
学生听取关于历史人物和时间的简单讨论,练习利用问题和选项预测听力内容,在听的过程中提取所需信息并进行选择;旨在提升学生提取关键信息的能力,同时增进学生对我国古代科学技术发展成就的认识,也为下一步骤中的语言输出做好准备。

Dialgue learning
Lead in
Present the pictures f sme imprtant inventins and ask students the questin: What’s yur favrite inventin?
Listen, read and underline
Play the tape and ask students t read after it and underline the sentences talking abut ne’s favrite thing.
Watch the vide
Play the vide twice.Befre watching, present sme questins such as: What are they talking abut? What’s Jame Adam’s favrite inventin? watching the vide, invite sme students t answer the questins.
Imprtant pints analysis
Analyze the imprtant language pints, fr example: What’s yur , I like... best
Talk abut ne’s favrite inventins.
Listen t the tape and read after it.
Watch the vide and answer questins.
4.Understand the imprtant language pints and take ntes.
导入环节让学生讨论最喜欢的发明,为后面的主题做铺垫。
通过听录音,划句子的环节,让学生对文本初步熟悉;观看视频让学生回答问题,带着问题观看视频,更熟悉文本,对文本的重点内容有所熟悉。分析重点词句,夯实重点词句,为后面的语言输出做准备。

Imitate and practice.
Deal with the new wrs: cmpass,travel lng distance, in a shrt time,speed up. Then shw them the sentence patterns and ask them t imitate activity6 and practice with partner.

First ask students t read the example ludly and then ask them t chse a career and the persn wh made great achievements in the field t rle play.
