    Emile and the Field is the stry f a little by wh spends every seasn playing in a field by his huse, whispering t the trees r playing in the leaves.
    Kevin Yung, the authr f the bk, riginally wrte Emile and the Field years ag as a bedtime pem fr his sn. Yung’s sn is a teenager nw—and t ld fr bedtime stries—but this pem abut Emile lives n, nw as a children’s bk illustrated by Chima Ebinama, a fine artist living in Greece.
    Ebinama wanted t reflect Emile’s lve fr nature, s she used a srt f rmantic palette (调色板) f pinks, blues and sunny yellws. She hand-painted the illustratins in waterclr.
