One thery is that it’s nt the artificial sweetener itself that has a direct effect n the bdy. The idea is that artificial sweeteners may cnfuse the bdy by tricking it int thinking sugar is cming. “Yu are suppsed t get sugar after smething tastes sweet” explains Swithers, “Yur bdy has been used t that.” But the sugar never arrives, which may lead t the bdy’s less efficiency in prcessing sugar that’s cnsumed later.

If this is happening in sme peple wh cnsume diet sda, it culd add t the risk f Type 2 diabetes (糖尿病), because when bld sugar rises, the bdy has t release mre insulin (胰岛素) t absrb the sugar. “S what yu’re ding is that yu are kind f pushing the system harder,” Swithers says.

The mre yu knw abut the client, the better ff yu’ll d in any negtiatin.

By ding research n the clients’ cultures, they can adjust their negtiatin methd and give themselves a better chance f creating a valuable negtiatin experience fr bth themselves and their cunterpart.

I was als lucky: my high schl cach was Ollie Jarvis, wh nt nly believed in me, but als taught me hw t believe in myself. One particular incident (事件) with my cach Ollie Jarvis changed my life frever.

This meant a chance fr mney in my pcket—certainly, mney fr a new bike and new clthes, and I culd als begin t save mney fr a huse fr my mther, which was what I had always dreamed f. The prspect (前景) f this summer jb was attractive and I wanted t jump at this chance. Then it hit me that I wuld have t give up summer baseball training t deal with the wrk schedule. I was afraid f telling my cach, wh wuld certainly be against my plan. I hesitated fr several days. At last, I spurred (给……打气) myself with the advice my mther ften gave us, “If yu make yur bed, yu have t lie in it.” I made up my mind.

根据最后一段“Schutt even made sure the injured runner crssed the finish line first, securing his ppnent a faster time. Althugh Cerveny was autmatically disqualified fr having received help, Schutt’s time fr the race wuld stand.(Schutt甚至确保受伤的Cerveny第一个冲过终点线,让他的对手更快地冲过终点线。

由第三段中“The idea is that artificial sweeteners may cnfuse the bdy by tricking it int thinking sugar is cming. “Yu are suppsed t get sugar after smething tastes sweet,” explains Swithers, “Yur bdy has been used t that.”(这种想法是,人造甜味剂可能会诱使身体认为糖即将到来,从而误导身体。
由最后一段中““It’s a small effect, but vertime this culd cntribute t ptentially significant cnsequences,” she says. If this is happening in sme peple wh cnsume diet sda, it culd add t the risk f Type 2 diabetes(糖尿病), because when bld sugar rises, the bdy has t release mre insulin (胰岛素) t absrb the sugar.

Cnsequently, when negtiating acrss cultures, we bring different views t the bargaining table, which in turn may result in ptential misunderstandings that can lead t a lwer likelihd f discvering value-creating slutins.(正如我们所知,文化以不同的行为、沟通方式和规范为特征。
根据第四段中的“Befre partaking in any negtiatin, take the time t study the cntext and the persn n the ther side f the bargaining table, including the varius cultures t which he belngs, whether the culture f his culture, the culture f engineering, r his particular cmpany’s crprate culture. 故选A项。
