The benefits f sprts have been shwn in numerus studies. Nw a research team at the Technical University f Munich lked specifically at children’s physical strength and their endurance (耐力). They used internatinally standardized test prcedures t lk at children’s ability t cncentrate and their health-related quality f life.
The study invlved mre than 3,200 girls and mre than 3,200 bys at primary schls in Bavaria’s Berchtesgadener Land District. The results f the study shw: The higher the level f children’s physical fitness is, the better they can perfrm. While the bys d better n the fitness tests, the girls perfrm better in terms f cncentratin and quality f life values.
“This means it’s imprtant t encurage physical exercise in children at an early stage, since this can als have a psitive impact n the develpment f mental fitness,” said Prf Oberhffer-Fritz.

In my village, sweet ptates came in many clrs, shapes and tastes. My mther lved the easy preparatin (bil and serve), but we als ate them uncked r rasted them n an pen fire. There is simply n bad way t prepare sweet ptates.
At sme pint sweet ptates faded (逐渐消失) frm ur diets as mre farmers started grwing Irish white ptates. It’s easy t understand why. They culd grw mre white ptates than sweet ptates in the same unit f land, and, what’s mre, the white ptates’ grwing time was shrter. But the white ptat is n match fr the sweet ptat in nutritinal (营养的) value. Full f vitamins (维生素), sweet ptates are as gd as any superfd but cst much less. Despite having lwer levels f vitamins, white ptates became cmmn. In the 1990s and early 2000s,sweet ptates were largely ignred by agricultural develpment rganizatins.
Hwever, thanks t effrts t breed (培育) imprved varieties f sweet ptates, they’re making a cmeback in many African cuntries.
