glasses, and just searching his wn hme yielded psitive results. “I fund 10 t 15 pairs just lying arund the huse in the drawers,” Gupta said.
With the help frm his father, Gupta apprached lcal ptmetrists, wh agreed t put ut drp bxes where patients culd dnate their used
eyeglasses after getting a new pair.
Since 2011, Gupta has dnated 9,500 pairs f glasses, wrth nearly $500,000, t yung peple in Haiti, Hnduras, India and Mexic. Gupta knws
that the glasses he’s prviding can make a big impact. “A lt f times, these families are in pverty (贫困),” he said. “With a gd educatin, they can

“Climate change affects them in a number f ways that we knw abut and prbably many mre that we dn’t,” Ernest says. “One example is a
mismatch f migratin (迁徙) timing with plant flwering that hummingbirds depend n. Sme hummingbird species are generalists in that they get
