Researchers have discerned the Wakatbi sunbird, a new species that lives n the small Waka-tbi Islands, lcated in central Indnesia. The new Wakatbi sunbird lks similar t the live-backed sunbird, but has darker feathers, shrter wings, and a higher-tned sng. "He described the Wakatbi sunbird as a ppulatin with unique dark feath-ers, but he and the rest f the scientific cmmunity finally decided that it was nly a subspecies f the widespread live-backed sunbird.
