Wildlife ppulatins in Latin American and the Caribbean Sea area were greatly affected. The research shwed a 94 percent drp in thse areas in ver 50 years. Wildlife ppulatins in river and lake habitats decreased the mst. Freshwater ppulatins have reduced by an average f 83 percent since 1970. Fr example, ne ppulatin f pink river dlphins in the Amazn River area f Brazil fell by 65 percent between 1994 and 2016.
These findings are a red flag that warms f a larger system failure n the hrizn. Even ne species’ ppulatin reductin can affect ther species, eventually impacting the ecsystem’s ability t functin. Humans depend n a stable climate, predictable weather patterns, and prductive farmland and fisheries t thrive（蓬勃发展）, but the current trends are severe enugh t threaten many life-sustaining systems.
