Our wrld is in danger. We must d smething t prtect the envirnment. But, what are the main prblems we face?
The greenhuse effect
The atmsphere (大气层) arund the Earth is necessary fr all living things. It is like the glass f a greenhuse, letting sunlight in and keeping heat frm getting ut. Withut it, the Earth wuld be the same as the Mn—cld and lifeless.
When we burn fuels (燃料) such as petrl and cal, we prduce a gas called carbn dixide (CO2). T much f this gas pllutes the atmsphere, and causes it t keep in t much heat. As a result f the greenhuse effect, the Earth’s temperature is increasing. This causes sea level t rise, and in the future may cause cities t disappear.
Cutting dwn frests
Every year, we destry nature by cutting dwn many frests. This makes the greenhuse effect wrse because trees take in CO2 and prduce xygen (O2). Cutting dwn trees als destrys the hmes f animals that live in frests, and causes the surface f the sil t be easily destryed by train. This can result in flds and even mre damage t the envirnment.

Many f ur habits cause pllutin. Peple ften use things nce and then thrw them away, r leave them n the grund as litter. T prtect the envirnment, we need t take prper actin.
