The first tw numbers indicate where that prduct has been identified (the place), then there is the number that crrespnds t the manufacturing cmpany and the rest f the numbers uniquely identify each unit that the manufacturer makes.
Barcdes dn’t nly identify the categry f gds but als manage the number f gds. Fr example, if there are 10 cartns f milk and a custmer takes ne, it will be registered when it is scanned at the cash cunter, s the stre wner knws there are nine cartns left and manages stck accurately.

    B.A prduct’s marketing cmpany.
C.The allergens cntained in a prduct.
D.The remaining amunt f a certain prduct in stck.
34.What is the benefit f barcdes accrding t Jsé María Bnmatí?

B.They furthered the develpment f retail.
C.They ffer cnsumers a wider chice f prducts.

    Save Fd and Eat Healthily
    Gd mrning, everyne!
I am Li Hua, a student f Senir 2, and I feel greatly privileged t be here t deliver my speech. Tday is Wrld Fd Day, a significant ccasin that nt nly reminds us f the imprtance f fd in sustaining life but als calls fr actin against fd waste and malnutritin.
T save fd and eat healthily, we’d better live a healthier lifestyle by chsing whle fds, limiting prcessed items, and cking mre at hme. Besides, excessive snacking, frequent cnsumptin f bubble tea, and regular reliance n takeut meals shuld be minimized. Remember, small changes tday pave the way t a healthier tmrrw and gd health begins with what we eat.
S let’s eat healthily and make a cnscius effrt t respect fd, value its surce, and appreciate its rle in ur lives.
    Thank yu fr yur attentin!

    One pssible versin:
One f the waiters came int the kitchen, lking very wrried. “The guests are asking fr the rast,” panted the waiter, beads f sweat n his frehead. I stared at the charred rast, my mind spinning like an engine. Suddenly, the smke permeating the kitchen dragged me back t a family dinner, where my grandma cnjured a delicius dish frm a charred chicken. Letting ut an excited scream, I cked like an artist just the way she did, which finally enabled the waiter t serve the guests with a specially-flavred rast. Heaving a sigh f relief, I gave myself a thumbs-up when he dashed back anxiusly with the news.
One f the guests asked t speak t the chef. My heart skipped a beat. Gulping hard, I fllwed the waiter, shuffling with a lump in my thrat. I was n the verge f tears when I sptted my dear grandma. Much t my surprise and delight, she came specifically t cngratulate me n my new jb. “See, ur little girl has grwn int an amazing ck.” She chuckled and patted my cheek gently. As vivid memries f my childhd flashed back, it dawned n me that it was the passin and lve behind cking that made it enduringly charming. With a brand-new utlk, I returned t the kitchen and cntinued t brighten peple’s lives with delicius and satisfying fd.

    Text 10
M: Welcme t ur lecture tday n bilgy, fcusing specifically n animal behavir. An interesting aspect f animal behavir is the difference bserved when animals are kept in z s as ppsed t their natural habitats. In zs, animals face fewer direct survival challenges, such as the need t hunt fr fd r hide frm ther animals that might want t hurt them. This gives them mre time t d ther things. Fr example, mnkeys in zs ften spend mre time resting and playing since they always have enugh fd prvided by the zkeepers. Als, even thugh zs try t make the living areas lk like the wild, it’s still different. S, animals start ding new things they wuldn’t d in the wild. Fr instance, in the wild, female mnkeys have a lt f space and dn’t need t be very clse t thers. But in zs, because they live clser t each ther, they becme mre friendly and clean each ther’s fur.
