    First, I thught I was pregnant (怀孕的). Shrtly after, I had a shting pain in my stmach. Finally, I went t the emergency rm and they said, “Listen, smething is wrng.” Then I was tld I might lse my hair fr my wedding due t the chemical treatment.

    Here is the stry f American aviatin (航空) pineer Amelia Earhart.
    Once upn a time, n July 24th 1897, a little girl was brn in Ashes Kansas. As a child, Amelia was adventurus, climbing trees, cllecting bugs, hunting rats with their rifle and explring the neighbrhd. Many histrians have described Earhart as a “tmby” grwing up because f this.

    M: “Sund interested”. Well, this means yu must never sund bred r angry, even if the caller is difficult.
    W: I see. And I have t intrduce myself t every caller.
    M: Yes. At the start f every call yu must give yur name. S yu wuld say “Gd mrning, Diana Clthing Cmpany, Hng Jie speaking” — r “Lily speaking” in yur case.
    W: And I have t call the custmer by name t?
    M: Yes, that’s right. It’s mre persnal and mre plite.
    W: Mm, and this last ne — “Make a prmise”. What d we have t prmise exactly?
    M: At Diana we aren’t allwed t end a call withut prmising t d smething. S yu say “I’ll send yu the intrductin tday”, fr example, r “I’ll see what I can d and I’ll call yu back”.
    W: I see.

    W: David had a dream since childhd. He wanted t draw fr a living when he grew up. He lked fr many jbs, but because f lacking experience, n ne wanted t emply him. Finally, he fund a large drugstre chain with an in-huse advertising unit and ffered t wrk withut getting any pay. They tk him up n the ffer. David wrked hard, and within weeks he gained prfessinal experience and the drugstre decided t pay him fr his effrts.
    After wrking fr a number f advertising agencies, David went n t pen his wn graphics design and phtgraphy business. Nw he is a successful businessman. But he ften lks back n the ffer t wrk withut pay. “I just needed an pprtunity, a start in this business, and I haven’t had t wrk fr free since,” he says with a smile.
