White cranes a bird species(种类)under first-class state prtectin in China, were recently sptted in Hengshui Lake inside a natinal nature reserve in nrth China's Hebei Prvince, the lcal resurce prtectin bureau(局)said.
The tw birds were seen first flying ver the lake and then ne f them landed n the water, while the ther flew away withut stpping, said Hu Hengma, a phtgrapher wh tk phts f the rare birds at the reserve n March 13.
There are just ver 5,000 white cranes in China and the appearance f the birds at the nature reserve pleasantly surprised the members f the nature reserve.
